Speed mode: Stop the motor

Question

Question

I would like to control the speed using an external analog signal.
Even if the analog signal is set to zero, the motor is still moving slightly.
How can I stop the motor?

Answer

Answer

Assign “[0x05] ZCLAMP” to the input (DI).
If the speed falls below the zero speed (parameter P1.038) setting and this DI signal is turned on, the motor will stop.

* If you want the zero clamp signal to be always on, you can effectively utilize the actual input (DI) by assigning it to the virtual input (VDI11-13) with a B contact.
* If you do not use external analog signals, set the operation mode to “Sz: Zero speed/Internal speed register” and the motor will stop if both “Resister Speed command selection” bits 0 and 1 are off.
