How to use Line Driver

Question

Question

When should I use Line Driver output?

Answer

Answer

– Please consider using it if the distance between the rotary encoder and the receiving control device is long, or if high pulse transmission is required.
– The Line Driver output is a signal transmission line that complies with TIA/EIA-422-B, and is a balanced line designed for noise resistance and long-distance transmission (up to 1,200m).
– A line receiver is required on the receiving side.
– Also, use a twisted pair cable, and be sure to connect a terminating resistor of approximately 120 ohm to the input terminal on the receiving side.
