SA-10/20 , SR-10/20 Connection with PC

Question
SA-20 (SR-20) is in operation.
It’s a very old controller, so I’m considering updating it.
I want to read the program on my computer and print it. Is it possible?

Answer
It’s not easy.
When the SA-20 (SR-20, SA-10, SR-10) was developed, personal computers were not yet widespread, and it was not designed with serial communication with external devices in mind.
Instruction word printers and dedicated graphical programmers existed, but they have since been discontinued.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but the only way to do this is to use the instruction word programmer A-21P (for SA-10/20) or R-21P (for SR-10/20) to read out the instructions and record them by hand.
You can save and print the handwritten program by manually entering it into the programming software DirectSOFT5.
