Overview

The SJ-ETHER series has significantly improved performance and functions over the old SJ series.
Along with this, some of the specifications have also changed, and there are some precautions when replacing it.

Difference in extended I/O Address

SJ series

4 points / 8 points I/O are automatically assigned to 8 points, and 16 points I/O are automatically assigned to 16 points in ascending numerical order.

The first address 100 to 1000 of each expansion slot 1 to 8 are fixedly assigned.

High-speed input / output function

The high-speed input / output function of the SJ series has been greatly enhanced.
Dedicated instructions are provided for the high-speed counter function and motion control function, making it extremely easy to use.
Input / output function settings can also be easily set from KPP.
If the high-speed counter function is used in the SJ series, the program in this part cannot be diverted, so it is necessary to change the program by referring to the following manual.

CPU built-in analog input / output setting method

Special register for setting the function of analog input / output with built-in CPU: The specification method of R7600 is different.
In addition, SJ-ETHER can be set not only from R7600 but also from KPP’s I / O configuration function.
