APS-30/31-*T replacement
Question
APS-30-4T (APS-30-2T, APS-31-4T, APS-31-7T) has failed.
I heard that it has already been discontinued, but is it possible to replace the current product APS-30-4N (APS-30-2N, APS-31-7N)?
If not, what are the alternatives?

APS-**-*T series is a DC voltage output type.
This type is DC12V level positive logic operation and has no current switching capability.
On the other hand, APS-**-*N has the same shape, but the output format is NPN open collector output and the specifications are different, so it cannot be replaced.
Although it is not a fully compatible product, APS*-**GK-E2 with PNP open collector output may be used.
If the input resistance of the input device is high, the input may remain ON even if the sensor is OFF.
The alternative candidate APS5-12GK-E2 has a working distance of 5mm, an outer diameter of M12 resin cylinder shape,
APS10-18GK-E2 has an operating distance of 10mm and an outer diameter of M18 resin cylinder.
Since the case shape and operating distance are different, please check the mounting condition.
