DIO settings when changing Mode Setting
Question
“Mode Setting” of the servo driver has been changed from “PT: Position control mode” to “S: Speed control mode.”
After changing the mode, I checked the DIO settings and found that they were still set to “S: Speed control mode”.
Is there something wrong with my operating?
Answer
This is because the DIO settings of the servo driver are set to the “When switching mode, value of DI/O will remain the same” mode when shipped from the factory.
If you change the setting of P1.001 in the parameter editor to “When switching mode, value of DI/O can be rest to the default one for each mode”, the DIO settings will also change when the control mode is changed.
